Prologue
In writing each arc, there will be a moderate amount of details and a reality to what many go through. WooAnna is written for girls and women to read and understand that they are not alone in this journey called life. Each arc tells a personal part of WooAnna’s experiences and provides hope in the midst of the many trials she has encountered.
Each arc is written in journal form from an outer perspective. Please extend grace for any grammatical, vocabulary, and editorial errors, for the sake of keeping with transparency, honesty, and telling of a raw journal entry. In expressing reality on paper can sometimes feel very inconsistent and scattered but that is what honest writing looks like.
The arcs will tell individual narratives from childhood to adulthood, and will provide an introduction, obstacles, and a possible closure, by the author’s perspective. Some arcs may have chapters and others may just be one entry. The plan is to keep smaller entries to truly understand these accounts and resonate with her experiences.
Understandably, many have gone through traumatic events and are still in the process of healing. Please pray and speak with God about the emotions and thoughts that may arise if anything provokes a trigger symptom. This work from the heart is to bring healing and not cause more harm. It is led by the Spirit of God and gives Scripture(s) for reference. If at any time it becomes overwhelming, please consider taking a step back, praying, and remaining close to the Lord until He leads again.
The goal is to provide at least one Scripture, if not more, within each arc, which can be used for memorization and meditation. To be clear, not anything mystical but knowing the power of Scripture and utilizing it as the the sword - part of the armor of God. His word is mighty and active and has the ability to transform hearts by the Holy Spirit working.
Please refrain from expectations, suspicions, assumptions, providing feedback, or anything else that may derail, misinterpret, or misconstrue what is being said. WooAnna is a fictional character that expresses the true stories of life. The intention is never to harm another individual but truly find peace, hope, and forgiveness even when some of the experiences can be heart-wrenching. The Lord calls His children to consecration for His glory.
This web-serial is not a place for “trauma-bonding,” “character-bashing,” or “speculative-reasoning,” among other things. It is a genuine gift of comfort in understanding many girls and women go through some very difficult scenarios in life but, in Christ, there is always hope to be found, even when it does not make sense. God always has a purpose in suffering but it does not always look the same for everyone, nor does the outcome.
WooAnna is a sincere chronicling of how God can come through for His children, even in the midst of exhaustion, confusion, desperation, and chaos. God will always prevail, and His plans are never thwarted. He is good and He is faithful. He will see it all through to the end.
Blessed reading!
